Property Description
I have opened here in my home town of Zacatecas, MEXICO.After having travelled the world for the last four years and doing all the things there are to see and learn, I have decided that ZACATECAS has a lot to offer the international traveller.
As you know Zacatecas is an old historical city.It was here in Zacatecas that the turning point of the Mexican Revolution came after its fall to the legendary Pancho Villa.
One thing lacking though, was a decent hostel with all the added extras that you like to see.
So I took the plunge, and have just opened the doors.
Our premises is situated in the heart of the Historic Centre BEHIND THE CATHEDRAL. We are five minutes by taxi from the bus station or 15 minutes on the bus
route No 8.

Reviews & Ratings Allan1970 from USA stayed here on 29th January 2010 This hostel is one of top 5 favorite hostel in Mexico, but unfortunately, Ernesto was not there that time and if he does, it will be more fun to have him there! | | makarenka from Mexico stayed here on 28th January 2010 This place is really nice, it's terrace on the roof is worth the stay, you get a nice view of the cathedral and the town in general. However the room smelled like cigarrette, the sheets were stained (not dirty) and blankets were dirty. | Female 18-24 | dajones7010 from USA stayed here on 28th December 2009 The staff, especially the man who owned or ran it, was great. Very helpful (calling taxis, storing bags etc), really friendly, and informative. He even shared some tequila. Very friendly dog there too. Free coffee, wifi, and kitchen access in the common area. However, our room wasn’t the cleanest, but then again the room was cheap and we usually stay in places about twice that price. Location is perfect. | Male 31-40 | katyapuga19841029 from Mexico stayed here on 27th December 2009 The hostel terrace view is amazing.Besides is very well located, near major atractions in Zacatecas Old District. I truly enjoyed hostel and facilities. Few hostels in Mexico provide the facilities we found at Villa Colonial Hostel. | Female 18-24 | elozano76048 from Mexico stayed here on 06th November 2009 Villa Colonial was a terrific hostel - great location, very reasonably priced. The thing that set it apart was Ernesto - gave fantastic and helpful advice on all manner of things - what to see, where to go for food/fun. would recommend this place to anyone going to Zacatecas. | Male 25-30 | grjones50 from Wales stayed here on 03rd November 2009 I stayed in a single room in a seperate building but popped over to the main building a few times. Everything ok apart from a few problems with water supply in my room which was being sorted | Male 41+ | Ganji from Japan stayed here on 26th October 2009 location is good | Male 31-40 | jczussa8920 from Mexico stayed here on 25th September 2009 excellent hotel, all was ok, well situated very good staff etc. you can go! | Male 18-24 |
